SPECIAL SESSION DESCRIPTION
-------------------------
The fast development of Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and
Mixed Reality (MR) solutions over the last few years are transforming how
people interact, work, and communicate. The eXtended Reality (XR) term
encloses all those immersive technologies that can shift the boundaries
between digital and physical worlds to realize the metaverse. According to
tech companies and venture capitalists, the metaverse will be a
super-platform that convenes sub-platforms: social media, online video
games, and ease-of-life apps, all accessible through the same digital space
and sharing the same digital economy. Inside the metaverse, virtual worlds
will allow avatars to carry out all human endeavours, including creation,
display, entertainment, social, and trading. Thus, the metaverse will
evolve how users interact with brands, intellectual properties, health
services, cultural heritage, and each other things on the Internet. A user
could join friends to play a multiplayer game, watch a movie via a
streaming service and then attend a university course precisely the same as
in the real world.
The metaverse development will require new software architecture that will
enable decentralized and collaborative virtual worlds. These self-organized
virtual worlds will be permanent and will require maintenance operations.
In addition, it will be necessary to design an efficient data management
system and prevent privacy violations. Finally, the convergence of physical
reality, virtually enhanced, and an always-on virtual space highlighted the
need to rethink the actual paradigms for visualization, interaction, and
sharing of digital information, moving toward more natural, intuitive,
dynamically customizable, multimodal, and multi-user solutions.
This special session aims to focus on exploring how the realization of the
metaverse can transform certain application domains such us: (i)
healthcare, in which the metaverse solutions can, for instance, improve the
communication between patients and physicians; (ii) cultural heritage, with
potentially more effective solutions for tourism guidance, site
maintenance, and heritage object conservation; and (iii) industry, where to
enable data-driven decision making, smart maintenance, and overall asset
optimisation.

NLDB 2024
The 29th International Conference on Natural Language & Information Systems
25-27 June 2024, University of Turin, Italy.
Website: https://nldb2024.di.unito.it/
*Submission deadline: *22 March*5 April, 2024 (Extended)*
About NLDB
The 29th International Conference on Natural Language & Information
Systems will be held at the University of Turin, Italy, and will be a
face to face event. Since 1995, the NLDB conference brings together
researchers, industry practitioners, and potential users interested in
various applications of Natural Language in the Database and Information
Systems field. The term "Information Systems" has to be considered in
the broader sense of Information and Communication Systems, including
Big Data, Linked Data and Social Networks.
The field of Natural Language Processing (NLP) has itself recently
experienced several exciting developments. In research, these
developments have been reflected in the emergence of Large Language
Models and the importance of aspects such as transparency, bias and
fairness, Large Multimodal Models and the connection of the NLP field
with Computer Vision, chatbots and dialogue-based pipelines.
Regarding applications, NLP systems have evolved to the point that they
now offer real-life, tangible benefits to enterprises. Many of these NLP
systems are now considered a de-facto offering in business intelligence
suites, such as algorithms for recommender systems and opinion
mining/sentiment analysis. Language models developed by the open-source
community have become widespread and commonly used. Businesses are now
readily adopting these technologies, thanks to the efforts of the
open-source community. For example, fine-tuning a language model on a
company's own dataset is now easy and convenient, using modules created
by thousands of academic researchers and industry experts.
It is against this backdrop of recent innovations in NLP and its
applications in information systems that the 29th edition of the NLDB
conference takes place. We welcome research and industrial
contributions, describing novel, previously unpublished works on NLP and
its applications across a plethora of topics as described in the Call
for Papers.

* Specific research objectives, goals, or questions.
* Research approach, methods, and rationale.
* Results and contributions to date.
* Expected next steps.
* Dissertation status and long-term goals.
1. Curriculum vitae (2 pages at most, in any format): a concise summary of your current curriculum vitae, including research publications. Clearly separate published papers from those under review or in press.
Please ensure that your submission is complete and conforms to the format and content guidelines above. Submissions that do not meet these requirements will be desk-rejected.
*Single-Blind Policy*. Proposals will be reviewed single-blind and, therefore, do not need to be anonymized before submission.
*Template for the Research Description*. Following the ACM Publication Workflow<https://www.acm.org/publications/taps/word-template-workflow>, the research description component should be arranged based on the new ACM single-column format. Instructions for students are given below:
* LaTeX (use \documentclass[manuscript, review, anonymous]{acmart} in the sample-authordraft.tex file for single-column). Please carefully follow the ACM’s instructions for preparing your article with LaTeX<https://authors.acm.org/proceedings/production-information/preparing-your-a…>.
* Overleaf (use \documentclass[manuscript,review,anonymous]{acmart} for single-column). Please carefully follow the ACM’s instructions for preparing your article with Overleaf<https://authors.acm.org/proceedings/production-information/overleaf>.
* Word. Please carefully follow the ACM’s instructions for preparing your article with Microsoft Word<https://authors.acm.org/proceedings/production-information/preparing-your-a…>
Should you have any questions or issues going through the instructions above, please contact support at acmtexsupport(a)aptaracorp.com<mailto:acmtexsupport@aptaracorp.com> for LaTeX and Microsoft Word inquiries.
*Accessibility*. DC students are strongly encouraged to provide “alt text” (alternative text) for floats (images, tables, etc.) in their content so that readers with disabilities can be given descriptive information for these floats that are important to the work. The descriptive text will be displayed in place of a float if the float cannot be loaded. This benefits the author and it broadens the reader base for the author’s work. Moreover, the alt text provides in-depth float descriptions to search engine crawlers, which helps to properly index these floats. Additionally, authors should follow the ACM Accessibility Recommendations for Publishing in Color and SIG ACCESS guidelines on describing figures<https://authors.acm.org/journals/accessibility-recommendations-for-publishi…>.
*Submission Policy*. Please consider the following ACM’s publication policies:
1. “By submitting your article to an ACM Publication, you are hereby acknowledging that you and your co-authors are subject to all ACM Publications Policies<https://www.acm.org/publications/policies>, including ACM’s new Publications Policy on Research Involving Human Participants and Subjects<https://www.acm.org/publications/policies/research-involving-human-particip…>. Alleged violations of this policy or any ACM Publications Policy will be investigated by ACM and may result in a full retraction of your paper, in addition to other potential penalties, as per ACM Publications Policy.”
2. “Please ensure that you and your co-authors obtain an ORCID ID<https://orcid.org/register>, so you can complete the publishing process for your accepted paper. ACM has been involved in ORCID from the start and we have recently made a commitment to collect ORCID IDs from all of our published authors<https://authors.acm.org/author-resources/orcid-faqs>. We are committed to improve author discoverability, ensure proper attribution and contribute to ongoing community efforts around name normalization; your ORCID ID will help in these efforts.”
*Camera-ready Information*. Accepted proposals (i.e., the research description component) will require a further revision in order to meet the requirements and the page limits of the camera-ready format required by ACM. Instructions for the preparation of the camera-ready versions of the papers will be provided after acceptance. We strongly recommend the usage of LaTeX/Overleaf for the camera-ready papers to minimize the extent of reformatting. Users of the Word template must use either the version for Microsoft Word for Windows, Macintosh Office 2011, or Macintosh Office 2016 (other formats such as Open Office, etc., are not admitted) for the camera-ready submission to avoid incompatibility issues.
** Registration and Presentation Policy **
Each accepted proposal in the doctoral consortium track must be accompanied by a distinct full author registration, completed by the doctoral student by the early registration date cut-off. Each accepted proposal must be presented in person in the doctoral consortium session to be included in the conference proceedings, published by ACM and available via the ACM Digital Library. The official publication date is when the proceedings are made available in the ACM Digital Library. This date may be up to two weeks before the first day of UMAP 2024. The official publication date affects the deadline for any patent filings related to published work.
** Grants and Support **
ACM UMAP has a long history of supporting students who want to attend the conference. Doctoral students of the accepted DC proposals will have higher priority for the ACM UMAP grant applications. Please periodically consult the page that summarizes grants and support opportunities, available at https://www.um.org/umap2024/grants-and-support/.

reality, virtually enhanced, and an always-on virtual space highlighted the
need to rethink the actual paradigms for visualization, interaction, and
sharing of digital information, moving toward more natural, intuitive,
dynamically customizable, multimodal, and multi-user solutions.

2nd CALL FOR PAPERS
1st International Workshop Robots for Humans (R4H)
Co-located within the 17th International Conference on Advanced Visual
Interfaces (AVI2024)
Arenzano (Genoa), Italy
June 3rd or 4th 2024
Workshop website: https://r4h-workshop.github.io/
#############################################################
AIMS AND SCOPE
The "Robots for Humans" (R4H) workshop bridges the Human-Computer
Interaction (HCI) and Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) communities.
With this workshop, we want to bring together these communities by
highlighting the commonalities of the two, stressing their differences,
and encouraging the contamination of their methods and results. We aim
to do so by recognising that human beings can be the bridge between
these two communities and the main objective for a human-centred design
approach.
With these reflections in mind, our workshop invites HCI and HRI
researchers to develop proposals for theoretical, technical and design
ideas that highlight thoughts on empowerment and the new challenges
posed by the design of robots. We ask researchers to propose both
perspectives: the utopian, which imagines ideal scenarios, and the
dystopian, which explores potential challenges, reflecting on the role
of artefact design and interaction in shaping these visions.
Join us to explore the intricate bond between humans and robots for
thoughtful HRI advancements.
#############################################################
TOPICS
Topics included in the workshop, but not limited to, are the following:
HCI theories and methods and novel approaches applied to HRI, Cognitive
Architectures for HRI.
Concept papers on the role of technology and robots in empowering or
challenging human well-being.
Empirical studies for human empowerment with technology (e.g., SAR,
Health care, educational context).
Participatory design approaches for HRI applications (e.g., user-centred
design for computer and robotic applications, human-centred, and
interaction-based design)
Research methods and challenges for different contexts (e.g., assistive
and education) in the HRI field.
Interaction with virtual or physical embodied agents, human factors and
human-in-the-loop in HRI, group dynamics in HRI.
Design relationship between humans and robots (multi-modal
communication, robot personalities, gender robotics, empathy).
Diversity, power dynamics, gender, racism, social stereotypes and
vulnerable targets of users in HRI.
Trust, acceptance and explainability in HRI; personalisation and
end-user development of robot applications.
Ethical issues (e.g. privacy, misuse and abusive interactions), social
risks and fairness in HRI.
#############################################################
ORGANISATION AND DURATION
We plan to conduct a half-day workshop including the following activities:
Welcome and opening (10 min.).
Keynote speaker: Dr Giulia Perugia (confirmed) (30 min.) and Q&A (10 min.).
Papers/Poster presentations (1.15 min.).
Coffee Break (15 min).
Focus groups (60 min.) moderated by Dr Carlo Mazzola.
Closing remarks (15 min.).
The workshop is planned to be in-person.
Participants will propose discussion topics for a focus group session in
the workshop's second part.
Led by moderators, subgroups will facilitate idea exchange in designing
HRI applications.
Participants will then identify the most significant topics for the
workshop at the session's conclusion.
AVI workshops are scheduled for either the 3rd or 4th of June, 2024.
Please check back the workshop website soon for the exact dates and
scheduling information.
#############################################################

ABSTRACT
=========
Adaptive and personalized systems have become pervasive technologies,
gradually playing an increasingly important role in our daily lives.
Indeed, we are now accustomed to interacting with algorithms that leverage
the power of Language Models (LLMs) to assist us in various scenarios. From
services suggesting music or movies to personal assistants proactively
supporting us in complex decision-making tasks. As these technologies
continue to shape our everyday experiences,
it becomes imperative to ensure that the internal mechanisms guiding these
algorithms are transparent and comprehensible. The EU General Data
Protection Regulation (GDPR) recognizes the users' right to explanation
when confronted with intelligent systems, highlighting the significance of
this aspect.
Regrettably, current research often prioritizes the maximization of
personalization strategy effectiveness, such as recommendation accuracy, at
the expense of model explainability.
To address this concern, the workshop aims to provide a platform for
in-depth discussions on challenges, problems, and innovative research
approaches in the field. The workshop will specifically focus on
investigating the role of transparency and explainability in recent
methodologies for constructing user models and developing personalized and
adaptive systems.
By bringing together researchers and practitioners, the workshop aims to
foster collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the development of novel
solutions. Through this collective effort, we can advance the understanding
and implementation of transparent and interpretable approaches in adaptive
and personalized systems, including integrating Language Models (LLMs) to
enhance transparency and enable users to comprehend the internal mechanisms
guiding these systems.

/*Short Intro*/
After the shock of the pandemic, learning ecosystems – and in particular
schools, universities, and territorial learning communities – all over
the world – are facing a new phase characterized by the search for and
the experimentation of ways to their “*new normality*“. This is within a
world that seeks to protect at best and incentivize the economic
recovery that although relevant is still subjected to enormous risks.
Among the main areas on which most of the industrialized countries and
Europe are focusing on, there are: the transitions towards a green and
circular economy, smart digitization of the production processes, social
innovation, active citizen participation supported by technologies, and,
finally, the education for all. In such a context,*collaboration*is
emerging as an approach and an attitude of considerable relevance that
stays also at the basis of the polyphonic construction of the future of
learning ecosystems.
Alongside/collaboration/, on the technological side, it continues to
rise the relevance of intelligent systems, generically collected under
the label of*Artificial Intelligence*(AI); concurrently, on the
pedagogical side,*competences*have become the goal of future education,
also in the attempt to close the skill gap, which represents one of the
greatest dangers for the transition towards smarter productive systems
and societies.
Competences and AI, by the way, are also topics that intersect and
influence each other and rise questions of*ethical nature*. Last but not
least, they are likely to require an organizational and didactic
revolution of the learning ecosystems, thus requiring to question the
possible consequences in order to build a more adequate future. In turn,
this step requires inspiration from best practices to leverage the
advantage of the growth of individuals and the expectations of the
communities.
What should we expect for future learning ecosystems? How “smart
learning ecosystems” are changing? How such changes may be related to
the achievement of “a better learning for a better world
<http://www.mifav.uniroma2.it/inevent/events/aslerd/docs/TIMISOARA_DECLARATI…>”
as a contribution to theUnited Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable
Development Goals (SDGs)

How will they contribute to the reduction of inequalities and, at the
same time, to the empowering of each individual according to his
expectations and talents?

ACM UMAP 2024 - Call for Late-Breaking Results and Demos
ACM UMAP 2024: The 32nd ACM Conference on User Modeling, Adaptation and Personalization
Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy
July 1-4, 2024
The 32nd International Conference on User Modeling, Adaptation, and Personalization (ACM UMAP 2024) is the premier international conference for researchers and practitioners working on systems that adapt to individual users or groups of users, and that collect, represent, and model user information. ACM UMAP 2024 is sponsored by ACM SIGCHI<https://sigchi.org/> and SIGWEB<https://www.sigweb.org/>. User Modeling Inc.<https://um.org/>, as the core Steering Committee, oversees the conference organization. ACM UMAP operates under the ACM Conference Code of Conduct<https://www.acm.org/about-acm/policy-against-harassment>. The proceedings, published by ACM, will be part of the ACM Digital Library.
ACM UMAP 2024 invites Late-Breaking Results (LBR) papers as well as Demonstrations (demos) of innovative UMAP-based systems (including research prototypes). The topics for these submissions are the same as the ones included in the Call for Full and Short Papers<https://www.um.org/umap2024/call-for-full-and-short-papers/>. However, their scope and timing is different. In particular, although short papers (from the main track) and the LBR papers of this call have the same maximum length, LBR papers are expected to present innovative ideas that are being explored and have already shown some promising results. It is also a dissemination channel for new research directions. Mature results which have already gone through experimental validation are more suitable for the general call, either as a full or short paper. Thus, rejected papers from the main track are not expected to be a valuable contribution as an LBR paper unless their contents are revised to address the scope of this track. Note also that LBR papers are to be presented physically during the conference in a poster format, allowing for more informal discussions on the ideas shared. Demos are intended to present systems that have been used to achieve the research outcomes presented as full and short papers. Thus, we highly recommend authors of accepted full and short papers to also prepare a submission for a demo of their system to be showcased at the conference in the LBR and Demo session.
** Important Dates **
* Submission: April 18, 2024
* Notification: May 9 2024
* Camera-ready Submission (TAPS system): May 16, 2024
* Conference: July 1 – 4, 2024
Note: The submissions deadlines are at 11:59 pm AoE (Anywhere on Earth)<https://www.timeanddate.com/time/zones/aoe> time.
** Submission **
All submissions must be written in English. Papers should be submitted electronically, in a PDF format, through the EasyChair submission system, https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=umap24, by selecting the “UMAP24 Late Breaking Results and Demo Papers” track
** Length and Formatting **
-- Late-Breaking Results Format --
* Page Limits. Up to 7 pages, plus up to 2 additional pages for references (figures, tables, proofs, appendixes, acknowledgments, and any other content count toward the page limit).
* Proceedings. Publication in ACM UMAP 2024 adjunct proceedings.
* Presentation. Physically presented as a poster during the conference.
* Description. LBRs are research-in-progress that must contain original and unpublished accounts of innovative research ideas, preliminary results, industry showcases, and system prototypes, addressing both the theory and practice of UMAP. In addition, papers introducing recently started research projects or summarizing project results are welcome as well.
We encourage researchers and practitioners to submit late-breaking work as it provides a unique opportunity for sharing valuable ideas, eliciting useful feedback on early-stage work, and fostering discussions and collaborations among colleagues.
In case that papers rejected in the main track (i.e. submitted as full or short papers) are submitted to this track, they should be revised not only to take into account the comments made to help improve the paper, but to fulfill the scope of the LBR, which emphasizes novelty of ideas. This is also valid for papers that have been recommended as an LBR when rejected in the main track.
-- Demos Format --
* Page Limits *. Up to 5 pages, plus up to 1 additional page for references (figures, tables, proofs, appendixes, acknowledgments, and any other content count toward the page limit). On an extra page (not to be published), submissions should include a specification of the technical requirements for demonstrating the system at UMAP 2024.
* Supporting Material *. Video or external material demonstrating the system.
* Proceedings *. Publication in ACM UMAP 2024 adjunct proceedings.
* Presentation * . Physically presented as a demo plus as a poster during the conference.
* Description *. Demos will showcase research prototypes and commercially available products in a dedicated session. Demo submissions must be based on an implemented and tested system that pursues one or more innovative ideas in the interest areas of the conference.
Demonstrations are an excellent and exciting way to showcase implementations and get valuable feedback from the community, especially for those papers that have been presented in the main track. Each demo submission must make clear which aspects of the system will be demonstrated, and how these will be demonstrated on-site as well as online.
To better identify the value of demos, we also encourage authors to submit a pointer to a screencast (max. 5 minutes on Vimeo or YouTube) or any external material related to the demo (e.g., shared code on GitHub).
*Non-Anonymity.* Submissions will be reviewed single-masked (i.e., authors’ names should be included in the papers) thus there is no need to be anonymized before submission.
*Template for the Research Description.* Following the ACM Publication Workflow<https://www.acm.org/publications/taps/word-template-workflow>, all authors should submit manuscripts for review in the new ACM single-column format. Instructions for authors are given below:
* Accessibility.* Authors are strongly encouraged to provide “alt text” (alternative text) for floats (images, tables, etc.) in their content so that readers with disabilities can be given descriptive information for these floats that are important to the work.
** Review Process & Camera-ready Submission **
* Review * Submissions will be reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. They will be assessed based on their originality and novelty, potential contribution to the research field, potential impact in particular use cases, and the usefulness of presented experiences, as well as their overall readability. Papers that exceed the page limits or do not adhere to the formatting guidelines will be returned without review.
The ACM Code of Ethics<https://ethics.acm.org/> gives the UMAP program committee the right to (desk-)reject papers that perpetuate harmful stereotypes, employ unethical research practices, or uncritically present outcomes/implications that clearly disadvantage minority communities. Further, reviewers will be explicitly asked to consider whether the research was conducted in compliance with professional ethical standards and applicable regulatory guidelines. Failure to do so could lead to a (desk-)rejection.
*Camera-ready Information.* Accepted papers will be subject to further revision to meet the requirements of the camera-ready format required by ACM.
Instructions for preparing the camera-ready versions of accepted papers will be provided after acceptance. This might include instructions to prepare a video of the accepted contribution. Camera-ready versions of accepted papers will be later submitted using ACM’s new production platform<https://www.acm.org/publications/proceedings-template> where authors will be able to review PDF and HTML output formats before publication.
** Registration and Presentation Policy **
Each accepted paper must be accompanied by a distinct full author registration, completed by the early registration date cut-off. Each accepted paper must be presented in person to be included in the conference adjunct proceedings, published by ACM and available via the ACM Digital Library. The official publication date is when the proceedings are made available in the ACM Digital Library. This date may be up to two weeks before the first day of UMAP 2024. The official publication date affects the deadline for any patent filings related to published work.
During the conference, all categories will be presented at the poster reception, in the form of a poster and/or a software demonstration following poster format. This form of presentation will provide presenters with an opportunity to obtain direct feedback about their work from a wide audience during the conference.
*Grants and Support*
To help students and early career researchers attend ACM UMAP 2024, we are able to provide several grants for participants at ACM UMAP 2024.
* Category 1: Discounted Registration Rates
* Category 2: Gary Marsden Travel Awards (GMTA)

Call for Papers - Special Session on: “EXTENDED REALITY AS A GATEWAY TO THE
METAVERSE: PRACTICES, THEORIES, TECHNOLOGIES AND APPLICATIONS”
https://metroxraine.org/special-session-6
2024 IEEE International Conference on Metrology for eXtended Reality,
Artificial Intelligence, and Neural Engineering (IEEE MetroXRAINE 2024)
https://metroxraine.org/
October 21-23, 2024 - St Albans, London, UK.
====================================================================================

NLDB 2024
The 29th International Conference on Natural Language & Information Systems
25-27 June 2024, University of Turin, Italy.
Website: https://nldb2024.di.unito.it/
*Submission deadline: 22 March, 2024*
Modelsand the importance of aspects such as transparency, bias and
fairness, Large Multimodal Models and the connection of the NLP field
with Computer Vision, chatbots and dialogue-based pipelines.
For example, fine-tuning a language model on a
company’s own dataset is now easy and convenient, using modules created
by thousands of academic researchers and industry experts.
It is against this backdrop of recent innovations in NLP and its
applications in information systems that the 29th edition of the NLDB
conference takes place. We welcome research and industrial
contributions, describing novel, previously unpublished works on NLP and
its applications across a plethora of topics as described in the Call
for Papers.
Call for Papers:
NLDB 2024 invites authors to submit papers on unpublished research that
addresses theoretical aspects, algorithms, applications, architectures
for applied and integrated NLP, resources for applied NLP, and other
aspects of NLP, as well as survey and discussion papers. This year's
edition of NLDB continues with the Industry Track to foster fruitful
interaction between the industry and the research community.
Topics of interest include but are not limited to:
* Large Language Models: training, applications, transfer learning,
interpretability of large language models.
* Multimodal Models: Integration of text with other modalities like
images, video, and audio; multimodal representation learning;
applications of multimodal models.
* AI Safety and ethics: Safe and ethical use of Generative AI and NLP;
avoiding and mitigating biases in NLP models and systems; explainability
and transparency in AI.
* Natural Language Interfaces and Interaction: design and implementation
of Natural Language Interfaces, user studies with human participants on
Conversational User Interfaces, chatbots and LLM-based chatbots and
their interaction with users.
* Social Media and Web Analytics: Opinion mining/sentiment analysis,
irony/sarcasm detection; detection of fake reviews and deceptive
language; detection of harmful information: fake news and hate speech;
sexism and misogyny; detection of mental health disorders;
identification of stereotypes and social biases; robust NLP methods for
sparse, ill-formed texts; recommendation systems.
* Deep Learning and eXplainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI): Deep
learning architectures, word embeddings, transparency, interpretability,
fairness, debiasing, ethics.
* Argumentation Mining and Applications: Automatic detection of
argumentation components and relationships; creation of resource (e.g.
annotated corpora, treebanks and parsers); Integration of NLP techniques
with formal, abstract argumentation structures; Argumentation Mining
from legal texts and scientific articles.
* Question Answering (QA): Natural language interfaces to databases, QA
using web data, multi-lingual QA, non-factoid QA(how/why/opinion
questions, lists), geographical QA, QA corpora and training sets, QA
over linked data (QALD).
* Corpus Analysis: multi-lingual, multi-cultural and multi-modal
corpora; machine translation, text analysis, text classification and
clustering; language identification; plagiarism detection; information
extraction: named entity, extraction of events, terms and semantic
relationships.
* Semantic Web, Open Linked Data, and Ontologies: Ontology learning and
alignment, ontology population, ontology evaluation, querying ontologies
and linked data, semantic tagging and classification, ontology-driven
NLP, ontology-driven systems integration.
