📣 Call for Doctoral Consortium Submissions – Mensch und Computer (MuC) 2025 📣

We invite PhD students in Human-Computer Interaction and related fields to apply for the Doctoral Consortium (DC) at Mensch und Computer 2025. The DC is a full-day, closed-group event where you can share and discuss your PhD research with peers and senior researchers in a supportive and constructive environment.

Whether you're early in the process or nearing the finish line, the DC offers a unique space to receive valuable feedback, refine your research questions and methods, and build connections in the HCI community.

🗓️ Submission Deadline: 11 July 2025 (AoE)
📬 Notification of Acceptance: 18 July 2025
🖋️ Publication-Ready Deadline: 23 July 2025
📍 DC at MuC: In-person only, in Chemnitz (conference dates: 31 Aug – 3 Sep 2025)

✅ What to submit:
Your proposal includes two PDFs:

  1. A 4-page research description (excluding references) in the ACM single-column format.

The DC is a juried track with a focus on constructive feedback and discussion. Proposals will be selected based on how beneficial participation is likely to be for the applicant. Accepted contributions can optionally be published in the MuC Extended Abstracts in the GI Digital Library.
