ICSR is a premier event aiming to present the most recent advances and breakthroughs in the area of software reuse and to promote an intensive and continuous exchange among researchers and practitioners. The guiding theme of this edition is Sustainable Software Reuse. We now invite submissions for Late-Breaking Results (LBR) and Journal First. LATE-BREAKING RESULTS LBR submissions will be peer reviewed and the accepted ones will be included in the conference proceedings volume to be published by Springer in the LNCS series. An LBR submission may also contain innovative ideas that are being explored and have already shown some promising results. LBR submissions are expected to address one or more of the topics covered in the regular call for papers (https://cyprusconferences.org/icsr2024/call-for-papers/). LBR submissions should be no longer than 12 pages (including references) following the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science format. Submissions will be handled via EasyChair (https://easychair.org/my/conference?conf=icsr2024). Submissions will be **double-blindly** reviewed, meaning that authors should: • Omit all authors' names and affiliations from the title page. • Do not include the acknowledgement section, if there is any, in the submitted paper. • Refer to the authors' work in the third person. • Use anonymous GitHub, Zenondo, FigShare or equivalent to provide access to artefacts without disclosing the authors' identity. With this workshop, we want to bring together these communities by highlighting the commonalities of the two, stressing their differences, and encouraging the contamination of their methods and results. We aim to do so by recognising that human beings can be the bridge between these two communities and the main objective for a human-centred design approach. With these reflections in mind, our workshop invites HCI and HRI researchers to develop proposals for theoretical, technical and design ideas that highlight thoughts on empowerment and the new challenges posed by the design of robots. We ask researchers to propose both perspectives: the utopian, which imagines ideal scenarios, and the dystopian, which explores potential challenges, reflecting on the role of artefact design and interaction in shaping these visions. Join us to explore the intricate bond between humans and robots for thoughtful HRI advancements. ############################################################# TOPICS Topics included in the workshop, but not limited to, are the following: HCI theories and methods and novel approaches applied to HRI, Cognitive Architectures for HRI. Diversity, power dynamics, gender, racism, social stereotypes and vulnerable targets of users in HRI. Trust, acceptance and explainability in HRI; personalisation and end-user development of robot applications. This is within a world that seeks to protect at best and incentivize the economic recovery that although relevant is still subjected to enormous risks. Among the main areas on which most of the industrialized countries and Europe are focusing on, there are: the transitions towards a green and circular economy, smart digitization of the production processes, social innovation, active citizen participation supported by technologies, and, finally, the education for all. In such a context,*collaboration*is emerging as an approach and an attitude of considerable relevance that stays also at the basis of the polyphonic construction of the future of learning ecosystems. Alongside/collaboration/, on the technological side, it continues to rise the relevance of intelligent systems, generically collected under the label of*Artificial Intelligence*(AI); concurrently, on the pedagogical side,*competences*have become the goal of future education, also in the attempt to close the skill gap, which represents one of the greatest dangers for the transition towards smarter productive systems and societies. Competences and AI, by the way, are also topics that intersect and influence each other and rise questions of*ethical nature*. Last but not least, they are likely to require an organizational and didactic revolution of the learning ecosystems, thus requiring to question the possible consequences in order to build a more adequate future. In turn, this step requires inspiration from best practices to leverage the advantage of the growth of individuals and the expectations of the communities.
